PROGRAM SPOTLIGHT: CCKO
PCMCH’s Complex Care for Kids Ontario (CCKO) program is growing access to care, closer to home.
Since its launch, CCKO has expanded from serving fewer than 600 patients in 2017/18 to more than 1,400 children and youth with medical complexity in 2025/26. With support from the Ministry of Health, the program advances coordinated, family-centred care through a network of hospital- and community-based clinics across Ontario, helping children and families access the care they need closer to home.
